Natalie Lehto is a registered physiotherapist with 20+ years’ of orthopaedic clinical experience and a passion for helping others achieve their physiotherapy goals. She believes in treating the whole person and the importance of listening to her patients concerns while providing a gentle pain-free approach to treatment.
In 1998, Natalie graduated with distinction from the McMaster Physiotherapy program. Prior to that, she earned her Honour’s Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph.
Over the past 2 decades Natalie has gained experience helping people with their mobility needs, post-op surgeries, osteoarthritis, balance/agility re-training, joint and muscle sprains/strains, sports injuries, paediatric rehabilitation, post cancer weakness, MVA and work injuries.
Natalie is dedicated to ongoing learning. She utilizes her extensive post graduate training in advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, kinesiotaping and pain science to maximize successful outcomes in her patients care.
In 2016, Natalie began her Pelvic Health Training and is Rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to provide Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. She has participated in several training courses related to treating pelvic health concerns in women and men.
As a former competitive gymnast and marathon runner Natalie had first-hand experience with sports injuries. Furthermore, Natalie has been through her own journey with pelvic surgeries, and can relate to the challenges of pelvic health dysfunction. These personal experiences contribute to the understanding, compassion and empathy that Natalie brings to her patients care.
Outside of the clinic, Natalie enjoys yoga, running, cycling, tennis, golf and hikes with her husband, 2 kids and dog.
