Wendy was formerly an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Science, Physiotherapy Program, at McMaster University (2007-2016) where she taught physiotherapy students and physician assistant students in a problem-based, small group environment. Passionate about learning, Wendy has completed several post-graduate courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, and pelvic health. She is a graduate of the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program (2008). She has completed specialized Pelvic Health training in incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse (POP), dyspareunia (painful sex), and pelvic pain using internal evaluation (vaginal and rectal) of the pelvic floor. She has also completed training in Inflammatory Conditions of the Lactating Breast and is able to assist women with breastfeeding-related breast and nipple pain. Wendy incorporates manual therapy, individualized exercise, acupuncture, education and other modalities to help her clients achieve success. |
