B.Sc, M.sc.

Jordanne (she/her) is a warm and empathetic clinician who holds a Masters of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University. She is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and holds the title of Registered Psychotherapist. Her training and education concentrated on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Jordanne has worked at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic and Seniors Mental Health outpatient clinic at St. Josephs’ Healthcare Hamilton where she supported individuals with mood and anxiety-related concerns including social anxiety, health anxiety, perfectionism, depression and specific phobias.

Through her work at Seniors Mental Health outpatient clinic, Jordanne gained experience in supporting challenges older adults may face such as health concerns, social isolation, caregiver burden, and transitioning to retirement. Jordanne also witnessed the gaps in care for older adults and is passionate about providing support to this population to help bridge this gap.

In addition, Jordanne is skilled at working with individuals of all ages struggling with low mood, social anxiety, general worry and low self-esteem. She works to empower clients through a strengths-based approach, helping them realize their potential and reach their goals. She values creating a safe, welcoming space and inclusive space, and is committed to providing each individual the opportunity to be heard, cared for and validated.

In her free time, you can find Jordanne hiking and camping or trying a new coffee shop in town. She has also recently rediscovered her love for art and enjoys watercolour painting!
