We are a multidisciplinary clinic offering Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Osteopathy, Kinesiology/Therapeutic Exercise and Yoga Therapy. As one of the Patient Experience Coordinators, you are a valuable member of this multi-disciplinary team.
Our team is like a second family. The clinicians and admin staff are extremely supportive of one another and love to work together and learn from each other. As a Patient Experience Coordinator you will work directly with the Patient Experience Manager and Clinical Director to support the clinicians and their clients.

A day in the life as a Patient Experience Coordinator at Fit for LIfe Physiotherapy involves:
- Work in a bright and welcoming work space
- Busy, fast paced environment
- Greeting clients in clinic and over the phone - you are the first point of contact for many who come to the clinic!
- Booking clients and managing schedules of 13 clinicians using an online scheduling program
- Taking payments and billing to extended benefit plans and WSIB
- Monitoring email communication and responding accordingly
- Laundry and light housekeeping to keep the clinic looking bright and clean

Required Competencies:
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor in person and on the phone
- Computer efficiency - email, beginner knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

A Sports Medicine Physician also provides services at the clinic once per week providing referrals to the clinic.

You will learn from a group of clinicians with over 100 years of combined experience as Physiotherapists. You can choose to grow your clinical skills in a variety of special interest areas such as; Manual therapy, Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, Concussion, Vestibular Physiotherapy, Osteoporosis management, Post- stroke care, Running Injuries and more.

A day in the life as a Physiotherapist at Fit for LIfe Physiotherapy involves;
- Work in a bright and welcoming work space
- 1:1 client care in private treatment rooms
- One hour assessments
- Minimum 30 minute follow up visits
- Access to an open gym area with bikes, NuStep, treadmill, pilates equipment, weights, balls, TRX and more to use according to your needs
- Booking, scheduling and billing managed for you by the front desk staff
- Busy and varied caseload
- Electronic charting and scheduling using JaneApp
- Scheduled break times for a mental break and managing indirect client care/charting.
What a mentorship program will look like for you:
- One hour sessions with an experienced physiotherapist twice per week for 6 months and then once per week for another 6 months.
- After the first year, mentorship is always still available with the frequency according to your learning needs.
- Sessions will focus on what you need - discussing a difficult client, learning assessment and treatment techniques, practicing clinical skills, discussing new research and its application to your practice.
- Assisting your learning in developing your own niche interest area
What You Get:
- Competitive hourly compensation. Can move to a fee split once established if desired. Compensation is evaluated yearly.
- Start at 3 weeks paid vacation. Paid vacation time increases with the number of years worked at the clinic
- 2 Paid sick days

- Education allowance starting at $500 per year (increases with number of years on our team)
- Individualized mentorship program with weekly 1:1 sessions with a variety of clinicians (valued at ~$10,000 per year)

Required Competencies:
- Registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists.
